Blevin's Shoot
A few years ago, I as able to stay with my friend, the editor of the Japanese collector magazine called "Banzai". This was the occasion of the annual Blevin's Shoot in Alabama. It was a long drive from Texas, but well worth it. The friendliness, nuptials and military hardware was flowing. I had the opportunity to play with and shoot a myriad of different firearms. The shoot was held on a forested hilltop that was quite beautiful. Alabama is much more humid than Texas. The sweat poured off me, but I adjusted. ;)
Most of the firearms were Imperial Japanese oriented, as that is the focus of this meeting, but many other eras and types of firearms were on hand. here are some pics.
