Reviews of "Germany at War" two book set to Date
Russ! I'm impressed! Wow! Almost 650 pages of weapons, uniforms, personal gear,
photos, a lot I haven't seen, and mannequins. I believe I have signed copies of
all your books and this 2 volume set is the best yet. This book is a must for
any serious collector of German gear. One can't have too many reference books as
this area of collecting can be a real mine field. I like the quality of
materials used in publishing this book and I really like the spiral as this will
allow me to use it without destroying the binding. Congratulations to you and
your co-author and all who contributed their collections to this effort. Great
job done and I look forward to future books! The mannequins are a nice addition in that they show how the different soldiers would have looked in their uniforms and all their gear on. Impressive layouts.

I've also received mine and am impressed beyond words! What a thorough
illustration of the topic! From weapons to uniforms to mundane personal items
such as toothpaste and shaving cream, it's all there! Even if not a collector of
the genre, few people will not find it just plain interesting! This book is
extremely recommended for your library!
Thank you, Russ for allowing me
to participate in this epic work! It's very gratifying to see my research, note
taking and typing become something tangible that may be of interest in some
small way.
The spiral binding may not be what everyone most prefers, but
as mentioned, it's a compromise between durability and unit cost.
I am out of superlatives... order a copy - you will be glad you did!

sending out messages to friends telling them to get a copy while they still
can.

The books arrived yesterday. The pictures look even better on a full sized
page. The detail on the pictures of the insignia is incredible. Well done,
indeed!
Thank you, Kevin
